Core57

For over 30 years, the top names in fitness have counted on Power Systems to bring innovative solutions to the most unique problems facing their gyms. Explore how Core57 partnered with Power Systems for the opening of her studio in Atlanta, Georgia and designed the best storage and fitness equipment for her space.

THE PLAYERS:

“ON A MISSION TO CREATE AN ENTIRELY NEW EXPERIENCE FOR A HEALTH LIFE THROUGH EMPOWERING EXAMPLES, COMMUNITY, AND KNOWLEDGE."

CORE’s founder, Kolleen Riddick-Losch, is a nationally recognized personal trainer and presenter who strives to bring an innovative and scientific approach to her training programs. As a former competitive gymnast and collegiate cheerleader, both physical fitness and healthy nutrition practices have fueled her success and passion from a young age. As a fitness professional, Kolleen specializes in corrective exercise and serves as a Senior Master Trainer for TriggerPoint. In 2008, Kolleen opened her first training studio, CORE Physique, on a mission to create an entirely new experience for a healthy life through empowering examples, community, and knowledge.

THE CHALLENGE:

“BUILD A GYM THE COMMUNITY HAD NEVER SEEN BEFORE, WITH ONLY 2800 SQ. FT."

In early 2018, Kolleen entered the application process with the City of Alpharetta for the opportunity become the premiere physical fitness facility housed in the City Center. The concept for her second personal training studio, CORE 57, was accepted to the downtown development project. Kolleen and her team now have 2800 sq. ft. of space to make CORE 57 shine in the 26-acre prime residential, retail, and restaurant revitalization project of Downtown Alpharetta. All of which is located less than ten minutes and five miles from at least 15 other fitness facilities of all shapes and sizes including but not limited to Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness, LA Fitness, and CrossFit affiliates.

THE GAME PLAN:

"STORE EQUIPMENT, INTEGRATE WITH PROGRAMMING, MAKE A STATEMENT, IN LESS THAN 100 SQ. FT. OF SPACE"

Kolleen reached out to Power Systems Business Development Manager, Daryl Shute, with the news of her second studio location project. Maximizing the square footage and the workout flow of the CORE 57 space was of utmost importance as nearly 100% of the workouts hosted here will be semi-private SGT sessions and large group classes. After consulting over the studio blueprints, Daryl presented Kolleen with a design rendering of a 23’ custom Pinnacle Rack that would neatly store her equipment mix and integrate seamlessly into group training classes with the addition of a few functional training – all in less than 100 sq. ft. of floor space.

THE RESULT:

“OPEN CONCEPT STUDIO WINS BEST OF...."

CORE 57 opened in Fall 2018 and by Spring 2019 won the award of Best Gym in Alpharetta, GA over competition large and small. The open concept made possible by CORE’s custom Pinnacle Rack allows her team to host large group sessions of up to 22 people at a time. Power Systems and CORE worked together to achieve Kolleen’s goal of creating a high-quality, results driven fitness experience with quality equipment and unique programming designed to fit the needs of her community.

I picked Power Systems for their attention to detail. They have been incredible to work with. Power Systems listened to my vision and delivered on the product. They never tried to up-sell me on equipment that was not going to benefit my members.
