Innovative alternative strength training ideas for any situation or clientele. Whether you train out of a facility or out of your car, this course is for you. During this session you'll break away from traditional methods of strength training to discover new ways of building muscle using kettlebells, sand bags, medicine balls, bands, and body weight drills.

Speed Training: Explosive First Step by Rob Rose
Learn why first-step training is important for all athletes. In this hands-on session, you'll get detailed information on all aspects of drills for linear, lateral, diagonal, and even vertical drills. You'll learn how to design and implement a first-step program for any athlete, individual, group, or team.

Plyo Power for One and All by David Sandler
To develop optimal power, you must first know whether power is strength based or speed based. In this course, you'll learn about the strength-speed-power continuum and how and why it affects your clients and athletes. You'll learn to analyze the power demands of a sport or activity and how to determine the focus of the power training. By the end of the course, you will have all of the tools needed to analyze an activity, assess the current power production capabilities of your athletes/clients, and set focused goals and training priorities.

Principles of Agility Development and Group Agility Training by Matt Poe
Learn the four major principles of agility development and get a detailed explanation of how the arm and the leg cycles relate to the biomechanics and physics of agility development. This session will teach you how to train agility relative to all positions throughout sports. You will learn to use the Poe Course Distance Formulas to effectively and efficiently design proper training distances for specific positions. This session will also explain the basic types of equipment used to train all phases of agility and will conclude with the fundamental drills of group agility training.
